The ittírdalá.hu electronic signature portal offers both individuals and companies the opportunity to sign electronically. During the signing process, you can easily choose whether you want to sign as an individual or as a legal entity, allowing you to adapt effortlessly and securely to the document type and the purpose of the signature.
1. Sign with GoodID: Advanced electronic signature in accordance with the EIDAS regulation by a NMHH registered trust service – the same authenticity as a handwritten signature*
Signature requires a one-time identification in the GoodID mobile app. During this process, the service provider verifies your identity based on your ID document and your selfie.
What can it be used for?
In Hungary, a document with an enhanced security electronic signature is considered a simple private document. From a legal point of view, the signature corresponds to the written form according to § 6:7 of the Ptk., i.e. it is equivalent to a paper-based handwritten signature. Legal declarations and commitments made with enhanced security electronic signatures are binding.
2. Qualified electronic signature (QES) – using the eSignature function of your Hungarian eID
If you have a Hungarian eID card, you can directly use it through the GoodID mobile application to create a so-called qualified electronic signature, if you have applied for eSignature on your eID (you can ask this at the Government Office). The signature is created extremely easily: in the GoodID mobile application, you enter the eSignature PIN code of your eID, then touch the card to the back of your phone.
What can it be used for?
In Hungary, an electronic document with a qualified e-signature is considered a private document with full evidentiary force, so it has the highest evidentiary force, and has the appropriate legal effect even in the case of complex legal transactions and contracts. It is currently open to individuals.
As you start the registration on the ittírdalá.hu signing portal, the first step directs to the appropriate (Android or iOS) app store, where – if you don’t have it on your phone yet – you can download GoodID. If you prefer to be more prepared, you can download the mobile app from the links below:
In short, you upload the document (or documents) to the ittírdalá.hu signing portal, which you sign using the GoodID mobile app.
To acquire electronic signing capability, we will identify you the first time based on one of your ID documents and your selfie, and then you can sign as many times as you like.
Your electronic signature is added to the document, indicated by a signature seal in the PDF. You can verify the authenticity of the signature in any PDF reader, we recommend using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
If you want to have the document signed by someone else (or others), you can invite them by providing their name and email address. You will be notified by email when the other party completes the signature, and the signed document becomes downloadable.
On ittirdala.hu, you can easily create a signing process where multiple individuals sign multiple documents.

Simple signing process
In a simple signing process, the logged-in user can specify a maximum of 1/10/100 documents to be signed and 1/3/100 signatories depending on the valid purchased package (10/50/100). The order of the signatures is the same as the order in which the signers were entered.

Expert signing process
A maximum of 100 documents to be signed and 100 signatories can be specified in an expert signature process (please contact us to set different limits). The signatures can take place one after the other in any order or in parallel.
A bulk signing process can also be created, where the document or documents need to be signed separately by many individuals (e.g., signing forms with employees).

The authenticity and security of the e-signature is ensured by the declared trust service of ID&Trust Ltd.’s trust service registered by NMHH. ID&Trust Ltd. is the developer of the Hungarian eID card and the GoodID multifunctional digital id wallet mobile application.
GoodID is a multifunctional digital wallet where you can manage and share your personal data yourself, so you can use any service quickly, easily and securely. With GoodID you can securely store your documents, identify yourself online, access websites and sign electronically. All with just a few clicks and securely.
So, in addition to electronic signatures, the GoodID mobile app is a great way to store your documents securely in digital format on your mobile phone (and even hold your loyalty cards). And it’s free to use.
The uploaded documents are stored encrypted on the server of ID&Trust Kft.’s trust service provider, and after starting the signature process – depending on your package – they are automatically deleted after a maximum of 60 days. It is important that you sign (or have them sign) the document during this time.
After starting the signature process, the uploaded documents are stored on the server for a maximum of 60 days, depending on your package, after which they are automatically deleted. If for some reason you cannot sign during this time (or your invited signer does not sign by then), you will no longer have access to the documents. In this case, upload them again.
Only payment by credit card is available. Payment can be initiated from an invoice confirmation e-mail sent after the order has been placed.

ittírdalá.hu is available and usable by both individuals and companies. We provide the opportunity for simple and efficient signing processes for everyone, be it an individual user or a business.
You can only sign PDF documents electronically. If the document is not in PDF format, we can suggest several solutions. If you only have a Microsoft Word document, you can quickly turn it into a PDF. Open it in Word and save it as another document, selecting PDF as the document type. If you don’t have a Microsoft Word document, you have two options:
For simple signature processes, the maximum size can be up to 10 MB, while for expert processes, a maximum 100 MB ZIP file can be uploaded. An average document rarely exceeds a few megabytes in file size, so this limit should not be a problem in 99% of cases. If you do have a PDF file larger than this, reduce the size first. There are many online services for this under the name “PDF compress”.
Add your document to the GoodID digital wallet. If you find a pen icon in the top right corner of the document, you are eligible for electronic signature. To be able to sign it, you need to know the e-signature PIN. If you don’t remember this, we suggest you look for the so-called blue envelope you received at the Government Office.
A certificate issued for an electronic signature is valid for 2 years. If it has expired, you can renew it in person at any Government Office for free.
You can activate the feature in the GoodID digital wallet mobile app. When you requested the eSignature feature, you received a blue-edged envelope at the Government Window – or when you received your eSignature by post. Inside the envelope is a blue-coloured so-called eSignature code card. Use this activation PIN on the ePassport data sheet, or start a document upload and GoodID will automatically prompt you. If you can’t find the eSignature code card, you can request it at a Government Window.
The eSignature feature of the Hungarian eID card is currently available for individuals only.
Firstly, we reassure you that the use of the GoodID digital wallet is protected by a 6-character PIN code. Additionally, we recommend visiting the https://revocation.goodid.net website, providing a verified email address that you have previously registered in the GoodID app and follow the instructions you receive in the email. The app will become useless for signature and other security functions (identification, login, etc.) on the respective device within a maximum of 60 minutes. If you enabled the backup function on your previous phone, you can restore the app to its backup state when installing it on the new device. With some service providers, you may have to perform the personal identification again on your new phone, but your portal registration and account will still remain.
Your registration on the ittírdalá.hu signature portal will remain active. You will need to complete a few steps using GoodID as your login and authentication tool. Due to the advanced security features of GoodID, data does not transfer automatically when changing phones, so we recommend using the GoodID backup feature on your old phone to restore your data to your new phone.
The electronic signatures provided by the ittírdalá.hu signature portal comply with the provisions of the , making them fully accepted within the EU. Depending on the type of electronic signature – i.e. Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) or Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) – the legal environment in the EU and other countries around the world determines which type of signature is suitable for a particular legal case. The most essential principle is: “An electronic signature shall not be denied legal effect and admissibility as evidence in legal proceedings solely on the grounds that it is in an electronic form or that it does not meet the requirements for qualified electronic signatures.” – Article 25.
The easiest way to check whether an electronically signed PDF document is authentic is to open it directly in a PDF reader (e.g. Acrobat Reader). In Acrobat Reader, a panel (“Signed, all signatures are valid”) appears in the document header, where you can click on the “Details” button to view the signature’s characteristics. For signatures supported by ittírdalá.hu, a visual seal having a QR code is also included in the document’s content.
The visual signature representative is a trustworthy data created by the trust service provider, which is an integral part of the signed PDF document and contains essential information about the signature. The data is primarily contained in the QR code on the stamp, but the most important information (the signatory’s personal data and the signature timestamp) is also displayed in a readable format. By scanning the QR code (can be done with any QR code reader), the trust service provider verifies, decodes, and displays the complete content of the QR code in readable format in a dynamic web page.
The visual representative is clickable, allowing for easy verification of the signature.
By default, the signature stamp is placed in the top right corner of the document, one below the other in the case of multiple signatures. During the signing process with GoodID, it is very easy to move the signature stamp to any other point on the document, for example, to a designated place for the signature, through dragging or clicking. Additionally, the default location of the signature stamp can be overridden. Yes. Security is a primary concern in the operation of the ittírdalá.hu signature portal. Signature security is ensured on several levels. ID&Trust Ltd, the operator of GoodID, follows the security standards for trust service providers. The data in the GoodID application is protected by a multi-layer cryptographic process. As a multi-factor authentication tool, the application guarantees that its owner uses the digital wallet.
The pricing is document-based, as it can be read on the packages.
Document-based pricing makes multiple signatures very cost-effective, and ensures that we can sign documents with invited signatories who are not clients of the ittírdalá.hu service. The essence of document-based pricing is that signature credits are not used per signature, but per document within a signing process, even if several signatories sign the same document.
Document-based pricing applies to non-bulk* signatures within the signature process. So, if I have already signed a document (or had someone sign it), received it back, downloaded it, and then uploaded it again to send it to another person for signature, then this counts as another credit, because I created a new signing process for the latter signature. For this reason, it is advisable to handle multiple signatures within the same whenever possible.
* The number of credits required for bulk signatures that can be created within the expert signature process is adjusted to the number of documents created as a result of the signatures, according to the signature template.

You are the only one signing
If the document (or documents) will be signed by no one else but you, choose the “I’ll sign it” option. You can sign the document after uploading, and then download the signed copy.
You are having someone else sign the document
If you are not going to sign the document (or documents) yourself, but would like someone else (or others) to sign it, choose the “I’ll invite a signatory” option.
When you send the document to someone else for signing, you will receive a notification email from us.
To expedite the signing process of the document, it is advisable to inform the invited signer that they will soon receive a document to be signed from ittirdala.hu via email.
Once the document is electronically signed by the invited signatory, we will send you back the signed copy.
Multiple people are signing the document
If you want to sign the document first and then have someone else sign it:
If you want someone else (or others) to sign the document (or documents) in addition to your signature, choose the ‘I will sign’ option first. After signing, you can forward it for additional signatures (‘Invite a signatory’). If you later decide that you want someone else to sign, you will need to upload the returned document again and start a new signing process to send it for additional signatures.
If you want someone else to sign the document first and then sign it yourself:
Start the process with ‘I’ll invite a signatory’, first enter the invited person’s details, and then enter your own details as an invitee. In this case, you will sign the document after it has been signed by the invited party.
ittírdalá.hu pricing is document-based, so within a single signing process, an already signed document counts as one, regardless of the number of signatures applied on it.
In the case of an electronic signature created without a trust service, there is no protection for the signer if the authenticity of the signature is questioned. The role of a trust service provider is to guarantee compliance with regulations, confidentiality, and credibility of the signature, i.e., to ensure who, when, and what was signed. In the event of a potential legal dispute, the trust service provider can vouch for the credibility of both the signature and the signer.
ID&Trust Ltd. provides a certified trust service registered with the National Media and Communications Authority for the creation of evidential, advanced electronic signatures. In compliance with legal obligations, ID&Trust also holds liability insurance for this service.
